Tutoring Center

The Stan Wisel Tutoring Center is dedicated to creating a foundation of academic success for all Ventura College students through its tutorial services. The Tutoring Center provides academic support in more than 95 course subjects in the form of drop-in (in-person and online), appointments, (in-person and online), and embedded tutoring. Additionally, all Ventura College students have access to free online 24/7 tutoring through Nettutor. http://5s2.e-west21.net/departments/student-services/tutoring/nettutor.

You will find that our tutors are Ventura College students, and/or students from local universities who have been recommended by their instructors. Aside from helping students with course content; tutors also clarify instructions for assignments, help brainstorm ideas for papers and projects, and facilitate the use of strategies for effective study habits and exam preparation.
